We obtain this grappa by distilling a blend of select Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. The marc is brought still dripping with juice to Nannoni Grappe, a premium Tuscan distillery; this is done within 24 hours of pressing, so as to preserve the marc’s aromatic complexities. Once the grappa has been distilled, it is placed in our 225L French oak barrels, where it rests and refines for eighteen months.
The grappa strikes the olfactory sense with inebriating hints of vanilla, cocoa and tobacco. The elegant, aromatically round palate is characterized by its excellent persistence and silkiness.
